Dr. Laura Paris

Dr. Laura Paris received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Stanford University.  She worked in a number of small animal and exotic animal care clinics as a veterinary technician learning the basics of veterinary care.  To fulfill her goal in veterinary medicine, she graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and did her clinical year of veterinary work at North Carolina State University.  Dr. Paris joined Mohnacky Animal Hospitals of Carlsbad in 2004 working as a Veterinary Nurse, an RVT and a Para-Professional until the completion of the California Veterinary licensing process.  She brings a wide range of experience to Mohnacky Animal Hospitals and her favorite part of veterinary work is internal medicine and soft tissue surgery.  In her spare time, she and her husband like to hike, mountain bike, and go camping with their Golden Retriever “Bailey”.
