Dr. Craig Mohnacky    President & CEO

Craig J. Mohnacky is a 1980 graduate from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from Parma, Ohio, he moved to California after graduation and started his first veterinary practice in 1981, Village Square Animal Hospital, in Encinitas.

He moved to Carlsbad in 1987 and opened Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Oceanside in August of that year. In 1997, Dr. Mohnacky acquired the Carlsbad location near the Plaza Camino Real Shopping Center, adding the Escondido location in 2002 and our Vista location in 2003. He is committed to providing excellent pet care and services to the people of North County. He loves working with dogs and cats, but especially enjoys the wonderful people he encounters at Mohnacky Animal Hospitals. 

As President & CEO, Dr. Mohnacky is the visionary.  Through his leadership, Mohnacky Animal Hospitals continues to be a resource to our clients and the community in which we practice.  His motto has always been to "do right by the client and you will have a client for life".  We train our employees to that very motto.
